Hi, My name is Lilliet Garrison.
Being a military brat allowed me to live all over the world. Then at age 25, I married a man who felt called by God to the military chaplaincy. After traveling the world, we completed our 30-year career in October 2011, and my husband Rick, retired from the Army as a Colonel. Seeing the world is exciting, but I now enjoy being off the treadmill and settling down. We settled for good (I hope) in 2016 in Chandler, AZ.
I spent many of our military years in leadership, teaching the Bible, and speaking. In 2009 I earnestly asked the Lord one day what He wanted me to do with the rest of my life. About two weeks later, the answer came...stop going to bible studies and start writing them instead. Well, I don't technically write bible "studies," but my books are all about God and His Word to us. They are essentially discipleship books to help Christians grow in their faith and to discover the amazing, life-transforming power of Jesus' overwhelming love for us. For those who haven't been introduced to the Savior yet, my books will lead a person to understand what becoming a Christian involves and why it is essential to living a life filled with joy, meaning, and purpose. Our wandering in the desert stops with knowing Jesus personally--and that's the good news.
I realize now that I am actually doing what the Lord commands all believers to do. And that is to go out into all the world and make disciples. Since my books are sold on Amazon, and Amazon sells to about 20 countries, that's more or less "all the world" for an author. In Dec. 2010 I published my first book and ten years later I have written 92 books with more to come. I have grown so much deeper as a believer by doing what God told me to do. I am more passionate than ever about spreading the love of Jesus to a dying world, knowing we are living in the end time.
While we were in the military ministry, I discovered my spiritual gifts. Exhortation (encouragement) and teaching are two. Three other strong ones are prophecy (which is encouragement, truth-telling, and calling people back to God) wisdom, and discerning of spirits.

I love teaching spiritual truth! I say if you’re going to spend the time in study and preparation, then you might as well teach something that will permanently change someone’s life for the better.
